Le Midi Hotel Jungli - Zhongli

Wow, what a convenient spot! This hotel is right next to the MRT, making it super easy to jet off to the airport or explore the city. I loved the spacious room; it was clean and comfy, perfect after a long day of Christmas shopping. Plus, the breakfast spread was surprisingly excellent with both eastern and western options. Not to mention, the staff were really friendly, which made everything feel a bit more festive.

On the flip side, the decor felt pretty drab and outdated—like a trip back to the '90s, yikes! The mattress was on the firm side, and there was a weird musty smell in the room that just wouldn’t quit. the laundry service was a bit of a hassle since one of the machines was broken and the dryers took ages. Not exactly the Christmas experience I was hoping for!

The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the MRT station. Tony, the front desk staff, was helpful during the typhoon, carrying our luggage so we could use an umbrella. The breakfast had a great variety, though the bed was a bit hard. I highly recommend this hotel!
